Though based around the founding of Britain’s first penal colony Down Under, the series focuses more on a story of faith, morality, justice and love, as the newly arrived convicts must do whatever it takes to survive in these tough and confined communities.
Filming Locations
Filming for Banished got underway on location, north of Sydney in April 2014.
