Based on Joseph Heller’s book of the same name, Catch-22 is an original American miniseries drama, scheduled to air on the video on demand subscription service Hulu. The series will be co-directed by, executive produced by and star Golden Globe and Academy Award winner George Clooney.

Catch-22 is set in Italy during the Second World War and is described as the story of the incomparable, artful dodger Yossarian. A bombardier in the United States Air Force, Yossarian is furious that there are thousands of people he has never met, who are all trying to kill him.
The story is set to play out over six episodes, with filming due to commence later this year. An expected premiere date has yet to be announced by Hulu.
