Written and executively produced by The Fast Show’s Charlie Higson, Jekyll & Hyde is a brand new action adventure series inspired by the Robert Louis Stevenson novella ‘The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’. The ten-part drama contains elements of fantasy, mystery, horror and science fiction.

Focusing on the stories attractive, but troubled hero Robert Jekyll, the ITV drama is set in London during the 1930’s – A time of real Hollywood glamour. The series plot revolves around Jekyll’s desire to uncover his true identity, his families real history and the nature of his split personalities. For during times of extreme stress or anger, or when other peoples lives are endangered, this calm and sensitive young man quickly mutates into the highly contrasting character of Mr Hyde.

ITV began broadcasting a very brief teaser trailer (above) for the show in May, this confirmed the series would premiere in the UK during Autumn (Fall) 2015. Since then, the exact air date and start time has been set for the 25th of October, 2015, at 6:30pm.
