ABC are yet to announce the precise Shadowhunters release date, but with filming having not got underway until late May 2015, the show is expected to reach our TV screens in early 2016.
Based on the series of books The Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare, this ABC Family show has been specifically adapted from The Mortal Instruments group of novels.
