This official trailer has just been released for new ITV drama The Bay, which starts in March 2019 on UK television. Airing over six episodes, the series cast list will be headed by Morven Christie: A Scottish actress who regular ITV viewers may recognise from Grantchester. View The Bay full cast list.
The 37-year-old has also appeared in BBC dramas Ordeal by Innocence, The Replacement, and The A Word. The Bay sees Morven take on the role of fierce and hard-working Family Liaison Officer, Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong.
If you’re curious about the soundtrack to The Bay’s ITV advert trailer, the song is called Pearls in Her Hair and was recorded by Hungarian hard/psychedelic rock group Omega. Far from being a new piece of music, this song was actually released in 1969.
