The BBC have just released this official trailer for Line of Duty series 5, which is scheduled to air on BBC1 in 2019.
From the makers of last years hit political thriller, Bodyguard, this year sees writer Jed Mercurio’s crime drama return to UK television screens for six brand new episodes.
Line of Duty follows the investigations of anti-corruption police unit AC-12, with the season 5 cast list featuring actor Vicky McClure as DS Kate Fleming, Martin Compston as DS Steve Arnott, Stephen Graham as John Corbett and Adrian Dunbar as Superintendent Ted Hastings. Series five will also star actor Rochenda Sandall as Lisa McQueen.
An exact Line of Duty season 5 air date has not yet been announced by BBC One, but we’ll bring you more details on when it starts once they’re revealed.
