Who sings the song used in this new swimming pool Audi advert?
This ‘Synchronised Swim’ 2019 TV ad for the Audi A1 uses a cover of the Genesis song ‘Follow You Follow Me‘ that the British progressive rock group released back in 1978 as part of their ninth studio album ‘..And Then There Were Three…’.
The rather different sounding version used in this Audi advert was recorded especially for the commercial by the London music producer Faultline, who previously worked on the soundtracks to Audi’s ‘If I Only Had A Brain’, ‘Dream’ and ‘Send In The Clowns’ campaigns. The cover of Follow You Follow Me featured in this latest ‘Precision – It runs in the family – Swimming Pool’ advert was sung by Dutch-Zimbabwean singer-songwriter Rina Mushonga.
